Jarrod began working in produce as a clerk for Texas-based Tom Thumb Food and Pharmacy in 1994. After entering college, Jarrod held additional positions at Albertson′s and H.E.B. Pantry allowing him the experience to move to Produce Department Manager and eventually Assistant Store Manager. His growing interest in produce and merchandising prompted Jarrod to look for opportunities outside of retail, but still allow him to remain involved in the industry once he completed his education.

Upon graduating, Jarrod took a job with Standard Fruit and Vegetable Company as Business Analyst. There he learned the ins and outs of national account programs and initiatives. Following the company′s acquisition by Del Monte Fresh Produce in January 2003, Jarrod was promoted to Manager of Business Analysis and Product Profitability where he developed an analytical team while leading one of Del Monte′s largest corporate accounts.

In August 2005, Jarrod took a position with Frontera Produce, Ltd. as National Accounts Manager. In this latest role, he is instrumental in the strategic development of all national accounts and is a catalyst for new business opportunities. Jarrod manages a national account team responsible for business analysis, replenishment, and sales.
