After watching the growing success of his brother′s produce distributorship, Cory entered the business himself as a new college graduate in 1994. His first position as a Transportation Specialist with Sunkist Growers introduced him to the fast-paced atmosphere of the industry. He quickly found an interest in the sales side of the business and joined OakPort Transportation Services where his knowledge of the industry grew over the next 4 years.

With Davalan Sales, Inc, where he was the General Manager of the San Francisco division, Cory oversaw all aspects of the business from operations to sales. Over his 8 year tenure, he developed the leadership skills and experience necessary to continue his professional journey into upper management.

In October 2005, Cory took the position of Director of Northern California for the Fullerton, CA based distributorship. In this role, he oversees all product sales and distribution for the company′s 2nd largest division. Cory is also instrumental in the strategic development of both regional and national accounts.

"Growing up as an active onlooker to the produce industry, I saw very early on the tremendous opportunity for bright, young individuals who were willing to work hard. I believe that our industry can only benefit from the influx of college graduates we have seen in recent years and I look forward to potential they bring with them."
