Barb Crowley – Sales & Marketing Director

Barb first entered the industry with a temp placement at Caruso, Inc., a fresh produce company based in Cincinatti, OH. She worked there briefly in the accounting department before transitioning to Standard Fruit & Vegetable in Dallas, TX. Barb quickly worked her way in Sales accepting an admin position. Continuing to excel, she was promoted to a Sales position managing her own customer base.

A relocation led her to a Sales position with Del Monte Fresh Fruits and Vegetables in Seattle, WA. Transitioning back to Dallas, Barb once again worked at Standard helping the company to improve accounts receivable over the next 3 years as a Credit Manager. Through the acquisition of Standard by Del Monte, Barb segued back into Sales as a Commodity Sales Manager. Following that 18 year journey, Barb accepting a new role at IFCO and acted as Director of Retail for 2 years. In this position she was charged with growing retail RPC business, working with large national retailers to implement a transition away from corrugates. Barb also worked closely with growers and shippers to ensure her retail customers were receiving the correct RPC specs as orders were fulfilled.

Barb has now been with Pro*Act for the last 2 years serving as Sales & Marketing Director. She has a wide range of duties including overseeing all sales support and customer service; managing the writing and enforcement of customer contracts; implementing new distributors into the Pro*Act system; working with IT on online order implementation; and department budgeting.
