Ashley began her career in the fresh produce industry as a student intern with The Packer in 2007. After graduating with a bachelor's degrees in journalism and psychology, she was a freelance writer until a full time position became available at Vance Publishing. Ashley is currently a full time staff writer for The Packer, reporting stories that are primarily foodservice focused. She also writes articles for special sections of The Packer highlighting current events and seasonal stories relating to the industry. In addition, Ashley is currently working on her master's of business administration as a part time student at the University of Kansas.
