Who could imagine after many years as an executive secretary and administrative assistant in the aerospace industry and medical field that Ms. Fraser would turn a temp-agency intro as an Administrative Assistant at Ready Pac Produce in 1996 into a highly successful produce career.
Her experience at Ready Pac proved to have a long-term impact on her career. Working directly with the VP of Sales on sales and marketing initiatives, she caught the bug for the produce industry, the people and the opportunities. At Ready Pac, she handled the coordination of trade shows, all sales team programs and was heavily involved in the planning and execution of the Retail Advisory Board Annual Retreat.
After four years with Ready Pac, Ms. Fraser went to work for the California Avocado Commission (CAC) as a Merchandising Coordinator. It was at the CAC that she began to spread her produce wings, supporting a variety of marketing initiatives, including merchandising and consumer relations. After five years as the Merchandising Coordinator, Angela was promoted to Marketing Programs Manager with responsibility for administration for the California Avocado Commission and, after 2002, the Hass Avocado Board marketing programs.
