Thomas' experience in the fresh produce industry started while he was in high school when he worked as a part-time cashier at Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck, New Jersey. After graduating from Saint Joseph's University, he completed the Wakefern Leaders-in-Training Program in June of 2009. Through this program, he spent time as a grocery analyst and assisted in the conversion of seven stores in Maryland to Wakefern's retail inventory replenishment system. Currently, Thomas is a Produce Merchandiser where he is responsible for new stores, remodels, and resets of produce departments for 264 ShopRite and PriceRite retail supermarkets.
