Kelly Pritchett

Kelly Pritchett
DMA Solutions

  • 2 years experience in fresh produce
  • Graduated Texas A&M University
    • B.S. in Agricultural Business
    • M.S in Agricultural Communications
  • Reason for entering the industry:
    • PMA/Pack Scholarship program and encouragement from DMA Solutions

Kelly graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness and in 2011 with a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Communications. She comes from an agricultural background with interests in marketing and communications. Her entry into the produce industry stemmed from the experience of Fresh Summit 2009 made possible by the Career Pathways Pack Family Student Scholarship.

In the summer of 2009, Kelly worked as a research assistant for an Agricultural Economics professor at Texas A&M. Prior to this, in 2008, Kelly interned with the United States Department of Agriculture under the Food Safety Inspection Service Agency. In the Office of Policy and Program Development, Kelly logged inspection reports and recalls and learned, firsthand, the importance of food safety and traceability.

Kelly joined DMA-Solutions in January of 2010 as a social media marketing intern where she now works as a Social Media Manager.

"The pack program introduced me to warm-hearted people with a strong work ethic and helped me realize that there was a place for me in the industry. I also value the agricultural stories of passionate families that have been in the fresh produce industry for generations."
