Regional Career Pathways Program

The Foundation is expanding the reach of the Career Pathways brand by creating regional programs. The Foundation has recently partnered with the Fresh Produce and Floral Council (FPFC) and the New England Produce Council (NEPC) to invite local universities to participate in a customized educational experience mirroring that of the Career Pathways program held at Fresh Summit. Student learning is enhanced through educational field and facilities tours as well participating in educational sessions and the expo. And an invitation-only reception affords students the opportunity to network with PMA, Foundation, and Council leaders.

Unlimited number of co-sponsorships - $500 each
Students and faculty members from local universities will take part in the PMA Foundation for Industry Talent (PMA FIT) Career Pathways Program at the FPFC Southern California Expo. Your sponsorship affords the students a customized educational experience to learn more about the produce and floral industries as a career choice through company tours, the FPFC Southern California Expo, and networking at a reception with PMA and FPFC leaders as well as PMA FIT contributors and sponsors. An industry mentor is assigned to each student to answer questions, introduce them to other industry professionals and simply help them embrace the myriad of opportunities and rewards the produce industry has to offer.
