The PMA Foundation for Industry Talent (PMA FIT)'s Career Builder Co-sponsorships encompass all of our current career placement initiatives to attract new talent to the produce industry in addition to many of our initiatives to develop and retain existing talent. These initiatives include:
The PMA FIT Career Headquarters, located by the show floor entrance outside of Hall D at the Fresh Summit International Convention & Exposition, will be a destination dedicated to the careers of those in the produce industry as well as those looking to become a part of it. Open Saturday, Sunday and Monday, October 16 - 18, 2010, Fresh Summit registrants will stop by to have their professional photo taken for their portfolio, as well as their resume critiqued for promotion opportunities within their own organization or elsewhere in the industry. Information about industry programs and educational opportunities, human resource tools, the online PMA FIT Career Bank, and success-stories from Pack Family / PMA FIT Career Pathways Program alumni will all be part of the PMA FIT Career Headquarters, as well. Your company logo will be featured on Fresh Summit signage, including a prominent sign at the entrance to the Career Headquarters room. Your company name and/or logo will be listed in PMA FIT Career Headquarters press releases and marketing efforts.
The third annual Fresh Summit Career Fair, situated inside the PMA FIT Career Headquarters, provides bright, young talent from more than twelve universities worldwide the opportunity to visit with and learn from companies in the produce industry. Your company logo will be featured on the Career Fair web pages and on signage at the Fresh Summit Career Fair. Your company name will be listed in Career Fair press releases, marketing efforts, and in the student packets of those participating in the Pack Family/PMA FIT Career Pathways Program. As the PMA FIT Career Builder co-sponsor, you will also receive a complimentary booth at the Career Fair.
Producejobsource.com, the official job/career bank of the PMA Foundation, is where the industry's talent and budding new stars go to look for career opportunities in produce. Your customized banner advertisement will be featured on the left-hand side of the site through December 31, 2010 along with other producejobsource.com co-sponsors. During this time, you can change your artwork up to four times, if you like. A hotlink to your website will be built into your banner ad so perspective applicants can go directly to your website for more information. Your company will also be listed as a "featured employer" through December 31, 2010.
PMA FIT's online Career Builder Resource Center, part of PMA FIT's website, provides online resources to student job seekers and educators. Career-focused articles, professional profiles, industry videos and more, are featured. Your company logo will be featured on the Career Builder Resource Center page as the sponsor.
In addition, your company name will be listed on the PMA Foundation's website, the Fresh Summit website, in the Fresh Summit International Convention & Exposition program/directory and in the Foundation's annual report. You will also be acknowledged during a Fresh Summit General Session and at the Fresh Summit Fresh Perspectives event.
