Women bring new ideas and bold ways of thinking to any situation, regardless of the topic. PMA FIT's Fresh Perspective is dedicated to developing and advancing women in the produce industry by providing forums for women to connect, network, and learn from industry newcomers and veterans, female and male alike.

At the 2010 event, the industry's best and brightest mingled at the Monterey Maritime and History Museum. Attendees of the second annual Fresh Perspective at Foodservice donated more than 945 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls, a charity that distributes shoes free of charge to people in need all over the world.
