The Foundation is expanding the reach of the Career Pathways brand by creating regional programs. The Foundation has recently partnered with the Fresh Produce and Floral Council (FPFC) and the New England Produce Council (NEPC) to invite local universities to participate in a customized educational experience mirroring that of the Career Pathways program held at Fresh Summit. Student learning is enhanced through educational field and facilities tours as well participating in educational sessions and the expo. And an invitation-only reception affords students the opportunity to network with PMA, Foundation, and Council leaders.
During the PMA FIT Career Pathways Program, students and faculty will:
Expand their understanding of current industry trends and topics through participation in educational programs
Experience the Expo by walking the show floor alongside industry mentors
Network with board members, industry mentors, and other leaders to enhance their conference experience
FPFC participants will also gain a fresh perspective of the industry by touring the fields and facilities
