The Pack Family Career Pathways Scholarship brings top agriculture and food marketing students and faculty from seven U.S. universities and five international universities to PMA's Fresh Summit Expo and Convention each year. This unique experience includes customized educational workshops covering topics such as a general produce supply chain overview, a "branding you" session and a career path discussion panel. Students are provided with numerous opportunities to network with industry professionals and walk the exposition floor. An industry mentor is assigned to each student to answer questions, introduce them to other industry professionals and simply help them embrace the myriad of opportunities and rewards the produce industry has to offer. Students are given pre-conference assignments to help them prepare for the event and add more value to the learning experience.

Nucci Scholarship for Culinary Innovation
The Nucci Scholarship for Culinary Innovation posthumously honors industry leader Joe Nucci and his significant contributions to the produce and foodservice industries. The scholarship program that bears his name connects produce and foodservice professionals to future culinary innovators. Through this all-expense-paid program, selected culinary students and faculty attend PMA's annual Foodservice Conference & Expo in Monterey, CA.

Regional Career Pathways Program

The Foundation is expanding the reach of the Career Pathways brand by creating regional programs. The Foundation has recently partnered with the Fresh Produce and Floral Council (FPFC) and the New England Produce Council (NEPC) to invite local universities to participate in a customized educational experience mirroring that of the Career Pathways program held at Fresh Summit. Student learning is enhanced through educational field and facilities tours as well participating in educational sessions and the expo. And an invitation-only reception affords students the opportunity to network with PMA, Foundation, and Council leaders.
