PMA FIT is governed by a 21-member Board of Directors who meet twice annually and who have the responsibility of setting policy and strategic direction for the Foundation as well as participating in fundraising initiatives. Directors may serve up to three one-year terms.

The Foundation is currently managing a fundraising campaign, Our Industry... Our People, to raise $5M to support the organization's strategic plan to attract, develop and retain talent for the produce industry. The Board is responsible for the fundraising efforts to support Foundation initiatives.
